Another tooth!

He's got 8 in the front right now (4 on top, 4 on bottom) - and last night I felt around in his mouth (wondering if that could maybe explain the fussiness we experienced on Sunday night) and sure enough, there was another little rough spot back there, and probably 2 more that felt like they were going to pop through at any moment. The kid's getting some teeth, folks!

Monkey Kisses...

That's him blowing kisses. He has to chase after the cat first, so give it about a minute (:50 mark) or so...it is too cute!

For Real?!

Just when I thought we were feeling better, we find out Monkey has pink eye. And, thanks to my mommy intuition, rather than just getting the prescription called in, I wanted him checked by the docs to make sure he was all better from his cold. The verdict: a resounding NO. He has one BAD ear infection and the other one is not pretty either. UGH!

So, yeah, that's pink eye and ear infections. I'm surprised I can get a smile out of this kid.

And for the record, that's basically an ear infection since Feb. 1. Poor little dude, make him better!!

Monkey Talks!!

Turn your volume up REAL loud. And listen very closely. The "bye-bye" is in the 1st 2 seconds of this video, so if you don't hear it then, you're not going to hear it. Apparently, Monkey is video-shy.

Sorry

That's about all I can say. Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Monkey and I have been battling some serious sickies the last few weeks, but I am happy to report we are both feeling MUCH better. After 3 different antibiotics for him, and 1 for me, we are ear infection free (yes, both of us), and both have our energy back!

As for Monkey, he's been talking up a storm these days, and doing all kinds of cute tricks. He waves bye-bye now. He also says it (sorta). He says cracker, which comes out sounding more like "ca-ca." He also knows where his nose is (still working on the eyes, ears and mouth). He throws a ball pretty well, which he also sorta says. If you ask him to get his tiger, pig, etc., he goes and gets it and brings it to you. He walks into school everyday carrying his own lunchbox, and also reminds you to get in on the way out when we pick him up. He also knows exactly what he wants and if you can't figure out what he's asking for in .03 seconds, we have a slight temper tantrum on our hands. The other night I came home, said "hi" to him, and got an adorable "hi" in response.
