Pictures Galore

Yesterday he was taking one step then crashing to the floor. Today, we have this:

What else have we done lately? Let's recap through the world of pictures, shall we?
We flew on a plane. All the way to sunny Florida. Monkey was a champ!

We hung with Grandpa (and Grandma Linda and Aunt Sam too, but I don't have those pictures).
We went to a wedding.

We laughed at Uncle Scotty.

Then we flew back to Phoenix, and went to the park with Mommy and Nana and Poppy.

He enjoyed the slide and the swings!

That look is going to cause me some trouble!

Peek-a-boo!

They are just TOO cute!! I love those boys!!

Almosts...

This is a picture free post. New pictures to come soon.

But I wanted to say that Spencer is experiencing quite a few "almosts" these days. He is almost walking. He has taken one little baby step or two and then falls down. But he's ALMOST there.

He's also ALMOST got 2 more teeth. Finally! These are the top two front teeth - just in time for Christmas!

And, he's ALMOST talking. He repeats after me, but it doesn't exactly sound like what I just said.

Oh, and last but not least, he is ALMOST 1 year old! 11 more days and I will officially be the mommy to a toddler!!

And, we're off...

Wish us lots and lots of luck as we head to Miami tomorrow for a fun-filled week of festivities! We are taking Monkey on his first plane ride, introducing him to extended family and friends, watching my step-brother get married, and the boys (sans Monkey) are heading fishing for a few days. Should be fun, and I guarantee a bunch of pics upon our return!

Happy Halloween!

Here he is... "Eh, mom...I'm not so sure I like this thing on my head""No, really, I can't SEE"
"I don't have a choice, do I? You're going to make me wear this?"

"Alright then, I'll give you a smile"

And after all that, he fell asleep about 30 minutes after we arrived at the Halloween festival. While he looked absolutely ADORABLE in his Monkey costume, let's hope he's a little more engaged next year :)

Pumpkins and Rides!

This weekend we hit up the pumpkin patch, and also went to the Railroad park where they have, you guessed it, a railroad, for the little kiddos to ride on. Also present was a carousel. Spencer looks super cute on all the rides, but I'm not sure he was into any of them! We also got the swine flu vaccine, Mommy ran 11 miles, and Daddy played some golf. We are a BUSY family!

This weekend Spencer will finally premiere his Monkey halloween costume when we hit up a halloween party down the street. Mommy and Daddy are headed back to ASU for some more college football, and Mommy is also planning on running 12 miles on Saturday, pre-football. Should make for an interesting game!

Oh, and we're looking forward to having the California Miller family out for a visit/dinner on Sunday evening. Should be good times!!

Happy 10 Months!

Yup, can you believe it, he's 10 months old?! To celebrate, pictures of his new look:

I love this little guy!

Yeah, I'm a bad blogger.

I'm sorry it's been so long, there just wasn't all that much going on these days. Spencer is growing like a weed. He's also crawling for real now, walking with assistance, standing almost on his own, eating solid foods (we're working on this) and saying "ma-ma, da-da, ba-ba (not sure if that's for Baxter or bottle yet)" I've heard him also say "na-na" and "pa-pa" and I've been told he said "lu-lu," but I don't buy that one yet. Oh yeah, he also high fives. See one of the videos below. And, he lost his voice for a while there (we had another sinus infection). I couldn't help myself, I had to video his funny lack of voice!

Anyway, here's what we've been up to:

He fell asleep eating. Poor, tired dude.
Yup, he's a dope!
Playing with his buds, Conner (the baldy), Caleb (in red) and Brayden (in yellow). The dads were watching the Cardinals game.

Standing and playing all by himself.

Here's the high five:
