Easter! Baptism! Disney on Ice!

What a whirlwind weekend! Yesterday Spencer and I packed up for a day out and about. First stop: Disney on Ice Adventures. Why am I taking a 4 month old (on his 4 month birthday no less) to Disney on Ice, you ask? Because he loves music and lights and it was free. He slept the first half, but woke up at intermission and I do think he really enjoyed it! Besides, we had the firm suite and got to hang out with lots of other babies. Next stop: lunch with the Mockbees. We're going to have to try that again - either Spencer was in a fussy mood, or Brayden was. They weren't ever happy at the same time. After lunch, Nana and I hit the stores to find a super-cute all-white baptismal outfit for Spencer and a super-cute dress/outfit for Mommy. I think we succeeded (see pics below).

Today was Easter (duh!) and we sat Spencer down this morning and opened all his loot for him. Surprise, surprise, he got baby food, spoons and plates (we're moving to solids soon). He also got all his summer pool supplies: float, swimmies, and sunscreen! After that, we jumped into high gear, got showered, dressed, and hit the church for Easter services and Spencer's baptism. He ROCKED! Not one peep out of the little guy. I think he was confused as to why he was being doused with water when he wasn't in his bath, but he really took it all in stride. He also looked ADORABLE! Up next: Easter brunch at our house for family. Phew! I'm tired just recapping the whole thing!! I need a weekend from my weekend...Oh, and I have a trial coming up next week, so you may be hearing less of me...

Last note: we think Spencer is sick again (Round 3?). I think it might be another ear infection - poor baby!
