Picture Post!!

Here is our December round-up!

Spencer helped me decorate the tree (and himself in the process)

He partied it up at Paige's birthday celebration and enjoyed the rainbow tunnel.

Mommy ran a 1/2 Marathon, but is still training for the full. Only a few more weeks to go!

We celebrated the Monkey's birthday

He got lots of cool gifts!

He helped himself to some cake

We have 4 top front teeth now! Still only 2 on the bottom, but 4 big 'uns on the top!

1 year Stat Update

Monkey is continuing to track right on target. He is weighing in at 23 lbs., 10 oz. (80%), and he's 30" long (70%). He got the all clear for all foods now, can get off of the formula, and no more bottles or pacis for this toddler! Wow, my baby's no longer a baby!

He got his chicken pox vaccination (I didn't even know they did that?!) and his first MMR. He also got his H1N1 booster, and Mommy got her H1N1 shot too, so no piggy flu in our house (unless Daddy gets it).

Monkey has 3 top teeth now, and 2 bottoms, and I can see plenty more ready to surface any day now. He's walking like crazy (literally - he wobbles and looks like Frankenstein, but he walks everywhere now). After today, he is on Christmas break for 2 weeks and when he goes back to school in January, he will be in the 1-year-old room where they don't nap in cribs, have to wear shoes, and all kinds of other silly rules!

Oh, and he had a wonderful birthday. We had family over to celebrate. Nana made her famous lasagna, Poppy made his famous ceaser salad, and we all feasted and celebrated with the birthday boy! It was perfect!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!

Yes, you read that right, Spencer is officially one year old! I can't believe how quickly the year has gone by! I can't believe that one year ago today I was being handed this little bundle and told it was my son. It is amazing to see what has become of him in such a short time. He is full-on walking, standing up by himself, and talking (sorta). He is his own little person, with his own great personality who lights up every room he enters. I can't wait to see in the years to come what an amazing little boy he will be!

Walking Watch, Day 3

Just a quick update, last night Monkey was walking 10-15 steps at a time before crashing down to the floor. I'll try and get a video of it tonight to post up here - although tonight he could be full blown running by the time I pick him up from daycare. Everyday he's walking more and more! Crazy, fast-growing Monkey!
