Scotty and Brittany's Wedding

So no, Morgan did not perform well. Spencer did. He was an angel. Morgan, however, cried the whole way down the aisle. As soon as she got to me, she stopped crying. So at least she didn't cry during the ceremony. The wedding was beautiful and the couple seem completely in love and perfect for each other. It was so nice.

Then mommy and daddy left the kids for a night with grandma and grandpa. They all survived, and we had a nice, relaxing night.

Wedding weekend.

Last night my kids were a disaster at the rehearsal dinner for my baby bro's wedding. Some distant relative of the bride actually said to me: "your daughter is adorable but there's no way she's making it down the aisle". Oh no you didn't. Hence, this is how we spent our morning today. We wet up the aisle 5 times without incident. Lets hope they are just as good tonight.

We've been practicing our pitchforks and cheers. The kid loves Sparky. He had so much fun!

Pumpkin Patch!

Both kids had a blast at the pumpkin patch this weekend. They really loved the cut outs for photos. Lol. Goofballs.

Morgan was a huge fan of the petting zoo animals. She loves animals.

2 Words Together!

Yes, that's right.  Mo is putting 2 words together.  Yes, they usually involve food of some kind.  "Eat apple."  "More apple."  "Get down."  I'm loving it, but it's bittersweet.  My little baby is growing up so fast!

And Mr. Monkey man is a mini-adult.  Check out the video!

Halloween Sneak Peek

Seriously, too cute. Spencer refused to take his costume off for the next 24 hours after this picture was taken and Morgan kept asking for her pig hat. I guess we will have no issues getting them in their costumes this year!

Someone went golfing today

Spencer got his first taste of golf today at the range with Daddy. Collared shirts required.

Ps - the shirt is uncle Scotty's business! How cool is that?

Told ya!

More recent pictures. We went to an indoor bounce house for a birthday party. And Morgan was just goofing around.

All is well here. The weather is finally starting to get nice again. My runs in the morning are much more pleasant these days. The kids are doing great at their new school - one of Spencer's new friends even invited him over for a play date this weekend. We have a lot going on, as usual. Football, weddings, more football and more weddings :)

I can blog from my phone!!

Just discovered this. Get ready for picture overload!!

Sweet Morgan

I feel remiss in not having blogged for most of Morgan's life.  Poor thing!  She hasn't been neglected AT ALL.  She just joined a family that has a lot on its plate, and she added to it exponentially (in a GREAT way).  So here's where Morgan's at these days, and Monkey too.

Morgan is 16 months old.  She has been walking for.EVER!  She started in March/April, 2012.  I have a video of it dated April 5, so yeah, sometime around then.  Overachiever!  Solidly before her birthday on May 24.  She has a mouthful of teeth, and a few more are currently making their way in.  She says about 25 words right now, including:
  • Mommy
  • Hi
  • Daddy
  • Doggy
  • Thank you
  • Hello
  • Bye Bye
  • Milk
  • Shoes
  • Nana
  • Poppy
  • Brother
  • Momo (her nickname)
  • Vivi (her BFF at school)
  • Water
  • Cheese
  • Please
  • Poo poo (and pee pee)
  • No
  • Mine
  • Ball
  • Baby
  • I love you...
She is the cutest, sweetest, fiestiest little thing.

Spencer is the biggest love bug sweetheart you will ever meet!  He loves to give hugs, tells me he loves me and gives me a hug for no reason, and is an all around doll.  His teachers report that he is sweet to the other kids at school.  He is always looking out for his little sister, letting me know when she's crying (because, you know, I can't hear that for myself!), and bringing her whatever she needs.  He also shares pretty good with her considering she always wants to play with whatever he is playing with!  He is doing great with swim lessons and tumbling lessons, and he'll start up with Tball as soon as the weather is consistently cooler.  He has his moments of stubborness and grumpiness, but they are truely far and few between.  He has an inquisitive little mind, and is always surprising me with what comes out of his mouth!

And there you have it.
