He Sits!

That's right, folks. Monkey is a sittin' fool. He here is in all his sitting glory :)

Oh, and he's also starting to hold his bottle for himself. Nice!

Nothing New Here...

Not a lot to report, which is why I haven't posted lately. Monkey is doing great! He's moved into his big boy car seats and he LOVES them!

Mommy and Daddy got pay decreases. Gotta love the Economy these days, huh?

Mommy got stuck in Vegas and had a flight cancelled. She ended up home at a reasonable time though, and it wasn't too much of an ordeal (in retrospect).

Tomorrow we're hosting the heavy appetizer portion of a progressive dinner for work (we agreed to it before the Economy affected our income). Mommy's been shopping and cleaning like crazy. Tonight Mommy and Daddy are off to play some night golf with the Mockbee family. Should be fun. Hot, but fun.

Next weekend Grandpa and Grandma are coming to town from Miami. Yippee!!

6 Month Stats!

Boy, oh boy.  I knew this kid was big, but I didn't realize HOW big until today.  

At 6 months, he's 28" long (95%), 18 lbs., 3 oz. (75%) and has an 18" head (90%).  At this rate, I need to sign him up for NBA camp now!  He literally has 2 more inches before he has officially outgrown his current car seat.  Wow.  Good thing I ordered the next ones already.

He got the usual shots and did pretty darn good.  He's currently resting up, and hopefully will give Mommy and Daddy a nice, quiet night.

Happy 6 Months, Little Monkey

Spencer is 6 months old today. Happy 1/2 Birthday to my little guy!

I can't believe it's only been 6 months since he looked like this:

Cancelled!

I was supposed to be jetting off to San Fran tomorrow night for a big oral argument in front of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday (a big deal in my dorky world). Opposing counsel had a death in the family, so now it's postponed until who knows when. Grr...

In other news, Spencer is doing great! We had a lot of fun this weekend hanging out with family, celebrating birthdays and what-not. He's sort-of army crawling now, but without actual movement! He's also huge, but what else is new? Oh, and he can't get enough of the rolling over thing. He did it while I was trying to change him the other day. Uh oh!
